A Great Way To Make Money With Your Photos

Shutterstock is a great way for photographers to get their name out there and get noticed all while earning some extra money!

It is a microstock website. This means that you upload your images to the website where they go through a reviewal process. Once your images are approved they appear for sale on the website. Designers can purchase a subscription which allows them a certain number of downloads each month. Whenever one of your images is downloaded, you make a profit. The more successful you are in selling your images, the more you will get paid per download.

It is absolutely free to join, and you still own the copyright to every single one of your images.

Besides photographs you can also submit illustrations, vectors, 3D renders, fractals, backgrounds, wallpapers, and video clips.

Sell Prints Of Your Photos!

There are lots of great websites out there that allow photographers to easily sell prints of their photos online! You can simply upload your photographs, decide what products you want your photos to be available on, then the website handles the rest! They do all of the printing, they take the orders, and they ship the product to the customer. They take a fee out of the total price of the prints to cover their costs, and you get the rest! This is great if you don't have the resources to print your own photos or if you don't have the money to get started selling your own prints!

Some of the different websites that offer this service are:

RedBubble

deviantART

CafePress

Zazzle

ImageKind

Anyone who buys camera equipment online should be careful and be aware of scams. Here is an article that has more information and advice about scams and shopping online:

Beware Of Scams When Shopping For Cameras Online

The best reputable online camera shop I've found is Sigma4Less They have the best prices, excellent customer service, and the fastest shipping of any online store I've ever bought from.

I would also recommend Adorama and B&H.
